Tyrophagus casei (Oudemans, 1910) — клещ[1].
Общие сведения
Сырный клещ (Tyrophagus casei) ходит в состав рода Tyrophagus, семейства Acaridae, отряда Sarcoptiformes, класса паукообразные.
Длина — 0,45—0,70 миллиметров (самцы — до 450–550 μm, самки — до 500–700 μm).
Питается сыром, зерном, мукой, зернопродуктами, семенами и т. д. Предпочитают поселятся в запасах продуктов с температурой выше от 4 ° С до 23 ° С, и с относительной влажности от 60%.
Поселяются на сырах, однако, в некоторых сортах (Milbenkäse, Altenburger Ziegenkäse) считаются допустимым компонентом, придающим «пикантный» привкус, но чаще считается вредителем.
Могут вызывать дерматоз у людей.
